TCG: What's it like playing (musically and technically) with Jeff, Randy and Steve?
JB: Bliss. It's challenging and inventive every nigh, because Jeff will never play the same from night to night. He's the most inventive, evolving guitarist there is. That really fuels all of us [...] He's an endless source of ideas and interpretations. Sometimes it's just a simple bend that will floor me. It's the nuance that makes him stand above all other players. It's been a real eye opener to see how he learns things too. He'll play a new part a million different ways and usually end up with real inconvenient fingering that most players wouldn't consider, but it sounds different and better than the norm.
