I personally love em. I think that their first album "Stone Roses" is up their in the top 5 of all time. John Squire is one amazing and original guitarist who has done some classic riffs: "Waterfall", "Fools Gold" "Love Spreads". Not to mention the fact they saved the british rock guitar scene. Without the roses there would be no Oasis, Blur, Verve, Ocean Colour Scene to name a few. And I still think "Fools Gold" has the best rhythm section in a song ever. It still sounds as fresh as ever when I put it on today; all 9 minutes 54 seconds of it.
