I recently bought a marshall mg250dx, and it sounds pretty sweet when its not turned up too loud, but if I crank it up past 5 on the master volume, it sounds like crap, is this normal of solid state amps, or is there just something wrong with my amp. A friend if mine said tube amps sound better cranked up and in the case os solid state, they sound better when not too loud.
