Check out Welcome Home (sanitarium) and One too. They both have a brutal ending but 1st half of these songs are definitly ballad oriented. And than there´s lot´s of ballads on Load and Reload. Especially Load. Turn The Page is also pretty cool though it´s a cover.

But Fade To Black, Nothing Else Matters and The Unforgiven are the leading ones.
