first of all, the Dimebucker is overrated, it isn't that good. i have a SH-4 JB pick up and it is probably Seymour's best, it is great for metal but also is very versatile.
also there is the SH-2, the Duncan Full Shred, and the Duncan Distortion.


check out Seymour Duncan website and listen to the sound samples, its ultamately up to you




i don't really care for dimarzio, but their Distortion humbucker is decent, it was on rhoads' polka-dot v




just a side note, you might want to check out EMG, i don't like em but they aren't bad
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.
