I'm looking for a way to emulate Eric Johnson's sound with a pretty good guitar, a small, but great tone amp, and an RP200 digital effects processor. I'm NOT looking for a general "set your lows=5-6, mid=8-9, high=4". I'm talking about which amp setting, what gain, what delay, reverb, etc. The main sounds I'm looking for are these:

1. Clean sound, like almost every track on Venus Isle, but especially like on beginning of "SRV" (Venus Isle, track 4), "Manhattan" (Venus Isle, track 6) or "World of Trouble" (Alien Love Child, track 10)

2. Overdrive ala anything off Alien Love Child cd, or "Pavilion" (Venus Isle, track 10)

3. Distortion ala "Lonely In the Night" (Venus Isle, track 5) or "Manhattan" (Venus Isle, track 6)
