Wow, 224p? Sorry to hear that. Did this just recently start happening? In other words, were you previously able to play GT video online without pausing, on the same devices and networks? Also, do you use the same ISP (Internet Service Provider) for both networks? Does it happen only at certain times of the day?

By far, the single most common reason for videos pausing periodically or freezing is the speed of your internet connection, or rather the lack thereof. Videos use a lot of data, and it has to be transferred fast enough for the video to play smoothly. Turning down the screen resolution markedly decreases the amount of data that you need to download in order to play the video smoothly and without pauses. But freezing at 224p on a high speed internet connection? That sounds like your ISP is throttling back your throughput, at least during the busiest times during the day. You might want to contact them and ask whether they are in fact turning down the speed of your connection at their own convenience.

Try downloading a lesson onto your device/desktop computer using the "Download Lesson" button and then play it back off the hard drive. You should be able to play the videos at 720p because download speed will no longer be a factor. Being able to play video off your hard drive is a matter of processor speed, hardware drivers and RAM capacity, not download speed. Therefore, if you can play the downloaded videos without pausing, then the cause most likely has to do with your internet connection.

Keep me posted.
