Hi, another (I prefer the term experienced, and not old), Hippie here. I am new to this game as well but I am finding that just concentrating on the basics and not all the theory is the path to go down for me. All I want to do is learn 50 or more chords correctly and learn how to play some blues and rock pretty well. GT is a great way to guide me, but I am not 12 and at Grammar School again, I can choose the songs from the fantastic choice and learn them at my own pace. I would have loved to have had one to one instruction, but sadly that did not happen, so GT came to my rescue (I would have preferred a beautiful woman, but I guess GT will have to suffice). Just Listen to your music to get yourself in the mood, I love 'War and Treaty' to get me psyched up and then practice your socks. Have a fantastic Day and only see sunshine?.
