That type of move requires a few things all working in tandem.
1. Lock your fingers into place on the fretted notes.
2. Place thumb solidly on back of neck to use as a pivot.
3. Slide your fingers back & forth.
The real trick involved here is to stay relaxed & smooth while maintaining enough pressure to keep the fretted notes ringing.
