Well last time I was at a band prac, my floyd rose went nuts and one of my strings broke... now sounds quite noraml, but it was my first encounter with a japanese made floyd. Well it's original (its sez on the bridge and the guy who sold me the guiat), made by fernandes but funny thing is that there was no gauge at the end of the string. It was cut off and held onto the bridge by the nuts/bolts.

Now is this common? The guy down at the rehearsal studio didn't know anything either did I. I didn't really check this out when I bought the guitar (regret :( ) Is my floyd a sh*tty floyd? :)
