I bought a Chinese Guild acoustic around 12 years ago. I still love it, as does anyone else who plays it; with the exception of two people I know who can barely play anything with a modicum of musical ability, but insist my Guild is inferior in every way to their US made models (one of which clearly needs truss rod adjustment but the owner insists I am just trying to get him to ruin his guitar).

I did buy it from a reputable dealer, though, and not a website that offers high-end guitars for less than the price of a bag of potatoes. I also read somewhere that they're removing the word 'gullible' from the English dictionary :)
