Well, yes the idea of being famous is very intriguing, but that's not the only thing that drives me as a musician. some people set deadlines for themselves, they feel that if they don't become famous within the next few years, then they're done for. Well, if that's the case, then you're doing this for all of the wrong reasons. Music is all about challenging ourselves, and finding new ways to express our creativity, and to simply understand ourselves.
I've met some famous musicians over the past few years, and hopefully I'll get to share the bill with them one of these days. But still, even if I'm just playing clubs to an audience of one hundred something instead of thousands, I'll still be happy, because I'm sharing my music witrh others, and of course that I'm enjoying myself. But yes, we all want to make a comfortable living, (financially) as musicians, we don;t aways have to be greedy. All we can do iswait for the right opportunities that don't compromise our integrity. I could never play music just to make money, I make music for myself!
Music is in my heart, and I'll be writing music for as long as i live, because I like it, and not because I'm trying to prove anything to anyone, or live up to someone elses expectations. I only have to prove something to myself, and that's that my love for music is undying. And as long as I don't set limitations for myself, I'm on the right tracks..
And yes... girls do look cute in pajamas. :)
