What ? A TAB is a person's visual interpretation of guitar notes in a song. Just as a band playing "covers" is their own interpretation of a song - now if they record and sell it, they must pay royalties to the music company owning the rights. If you reproduce a TAB from someones copyrighted book or another site etc. - that's infringement. I have TABS on my site of leads and intros from songs - they are copyrighted material - by me, I made them.

Sites like Napster and Kazza are the ones the music industry is after. Napster was sued - And a Fedral Judge just authorized the U.S music industry the right to file suit for copyright infringements against Kazza's parent company.
