Listen to Lisa and your MD. Inflamation can progress to Chronic Pain. Chronic Pain can lead to loosing your ablity to play guitar. Chronic Pain led me to stop playing for many years. It was a long road back, involving years of Physical Theraphy. I am still limited, in how much I can play the guitar. Be Smart.... Don't risk Chronic Pain. It sucks.
