Mesas are overpriced - Marshalls and Fender ?? I would go with the 2X 12. If going with Marshall - change out those Chinese 12Ax7's that they deliver in right away. No idea what Fender (Group) is sticking in their amps these days - I wouldn't touch 'em with a ten foot pole.
