Few weeks back I bought myself with a Fender Player Stratocaster, which comes with 9 gauge string (.009-.042 Gauges), so there is definitly some differences.
How would the experience be if I changed to 10 gauges on the strat, would the experience on the strat be more similar to the Ibanez? I now some people say 10 gauges are harder to play on, but currently the 10 gauges seems more "tight" and "robust". Any feedback or experiences would be greatly appricaited.

Upgrading to 10s on your strat will feel similar, although there are a lot of other factors between any two guitars. The action, the construction, etc.
The strings will be tighter / more stiff (harder to bend and press down) and will generally take a bit more strength.
