Hi,

For a couple of months I've been playing on an Ibanez RG421, which comes default with 10 gauge strings (.010/.013/.017/.026/.036/.046).

Few weeks back I bought myself with a Fender Player Stratocaster, which comes with 9 gauge string (.009-.042 Gauges), so there is definitly some differences.

How would the experience be if I changed to 10 gauges on the strat, would the experience on the strat be more similar to the Ibanez? I now some people say 10 gauges are harder to play on, but currently the 10 gauges seems more "tight" and "robust". Any feedback or experiences would be greatly appricaited.
