Im given a chord chart and i havent the slightest clue what to do with it. I dont understand it at all, and its just a bunch of lines and pictures to me.

I feel this should be ellaborated upon in the beginner section beofore im confronted with one of these charts. In all fairness, i was thought about some kind of chart in vertical lines and circles with simple C and simple G, and thats about it. Now i got the snazzy looking horizontal chart with these musical notes on it.

Now im stuck, and cant move on. I felt like unsubscribing to it all together because of this.
