In terms of overall playability if they are a literal fit and what you want, can't go wrong with either IMV. In that respect, pick the neck profile and aesthetic you like most, and take this into consideration.

Fact. Fender will retain far better resale value if you don't like it if that's important to you. G&L don't in my country. Like Tokai, as soon as you walk out the door, G&L are a hard resell on anything other than price regardless the condition or their quality.
