Thank you for all your responses! The part of the video I am on is the very first part where he shows you how to play 3 different chords and then puts them together. This was the very first time I had ever held a guitar – I had no idea how difficult it would be to get my fingers to do what I wanted! The hardest part was figuring out where to place my fingers. I mean, I could see where they were supposed to go, I just could not get them to do it! My ring finger and middle finger seemed to want to stay side by side! And boy were they sore – I understand that line in that Brian Adams song now. But, yesterday when I tried the chord that was giving me such a hard time, I did it almost right away. Now I just can’t picture being able to switch between them easily and smoothly, but I know it will happen with enough practice. Thanks again for your suggestions. I’m sure I’ll be back!
