JeffS56 advice was spot on. Im in my 9th month and struggle with G an C chord transitions. I thought barr chords were going to be imposible and then one day 1 little change in my position on the frett board made it happen like magic! This guitar thing is not easy. Practice and patience I have a nephew who went to Berkley school of music and the best advice he has given me so far is if you cant play it slow you will never play it fast so don't expect to be able to do anything fast (or well for that matter) just yet. Think about it every guitar player in the world started this way yes even David Gilmoure and Jimmi Page Good luck and hang in there.
