Thats what makes it easyer Seiko, what Slow Diver said. You dont have to reach the fretboard, just the frets. Ofcourse, I shouldn't say easyer, some dont like scalloped fretboards. I haven't played one either, but I hear good and bad things about them, and my old guitar teacher taught me a bit about them, on how they need a light touch and everything.
