Hi, long time Taylor owner here so I'm only going to say good things about them. Having said that, if it doesn't work for you it doesn't work for you. Period. They do tend to have wider necks which some people like because fretting can be easier. The action issue you're having could just be a setup issue and easily corrected. Can you take it to a shop and get the action looked at? That might help you decide. Whatever you do don't buy it hoping to get "used to it", you'll only be disappointed. The guitar should sound and feel good from the get-go.

P.S. What's the asking price? :)
