The tabs/notation show the amount of strums per chord. Which lesson did you have trouble with specifically?

So from this example, which is taken from this lesson with Lisa: https://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=24900&s_id=2058

The tab shows how many times you strum each chord. For example, you play the Bm chord with 8 strums. Are you saying that you would also want an indicator on the tab somewhere that says Bmx8?
