Thanks for the tip. I am at Chapter 2, Lesson 8 in Lisa McCormick's beginner course. In the Warm-up exercise, I found I was speeding up as I practiced. I thought I should keep it steady since that is the way music is done (I think). I tried the Metronome tool and found it helps me know when I am going too fast.

I'm still trying to learn to get a clear tone on each note, so I have a long way to go. But I may as well try to keep it steady as well as clear. Next, I plan to try to get the adjacent strings clear. My middle finger seems to always touch one or both and my ring finger has a mind of its' own.

Try to stay sane. It's Important!
