Hi everyone,

I finally picked up a guitar for the first time in 43 years. I am hoping to stay for the long run and able to become a decent guitar player.

Currently working on Fundamentals I

Dedicated time: 1 hour per day

First impressions on this journey:

- I have an old classical guitar (nylon strings) but looking to upgrade to an acoustic (steel strings) as I think the wider neck in the classical is working against me.

- One thing I noticed is that the course starts first with picking instead of strumming (which in my opinion seems a lot easier than picking)

...but again what do I know, I have never played guitar before :)
