What lesson are you referring to? I don't remember Lisa singing the solfege with the E major scale.

The solfege (do-re-mi, etc.) is a tradtional way of singing the scale degrees of any & all major scales.

do is the root or 1st

re is the 2nd

mi is the major 3rd

fa is the 4th

sol is the 5th

la is the major 6th

ti is the major 7th
