Hello! (i'm from Denmark, so if you don't understand some of my english that's why)

I'm 14 y/o and i really want to get into the guitar world. I am not looking to be a famous rockstar or anything, i just want to jam along to my favorite song and learn about/how to play the guitar. I haven't yet bought a guitar or any equipment for that matter. I have some questions i would like to ask someone who might know a little more than i.

1) I listen to all types of music (Rock, Metal, Blues, HipHop/Rap, Country etc.), what type of guitar should i look for? I mostly want to learn how to play rock and maybe some metal.

2) I it possibly for me to learn how to play my favorite song, without learning all the seemingly tricky notes and chords and stuff like that?

3) Is a budget of around $500 enough to get me started?

4) I am originally left-handed. Should i go for a left-handed guitar, or should i just learn guitar the ''normal way'' (right handed)
