Hello everyone,
ive always wanted to learn guitar and am taking this opportunity now that I'm on leave from work due to the Virus issue. It's so exciting to make progress, it's been a coup,e of weeks playing daily. Sometimes I practice for hours. I purchased a square Strat starter kit with amp AND a gorgeous Taylor mini KOA wood acoustic guitar that I can take traveling when that's possible again. I thought I'd like the acoustic but oddly I'm loving the electric guitar. My main frustration so far is not playing fast enough when I'm following the metronome I have to pause but I'm getting better at finding my spot back in. Sometimes keeping rhythm is tough. I'm also taking Fenders 3 month free class offer that came with my cheap Squire package and I like the way they teach theory. Going back and forth between Guitartricks and the Fender classes is great as they compliment one another well and fill in gaps. One day I hope to be super proficient but I'm enjoying the journey.
