Good luck to you on your guitar learning journey. I sure wish I had started at age 11!

You say that you are "starting" to learn which implies that you have started. So therefor you do have a guitar. If so, what do you have and why is it not acceptable to get you started?

If my assumption is wrong, or if what you have does not serve you, are you wanting to learn

with an electric guitar or acoustic? What kind of music do you like and want to learn? Can you give us a very rough idea of what budget to stay within?

If you can give us some answers to these there are some people on here far more intelligent than I that will give you very helpful direction.
