As a beginner, I have become somewhat profient fretting in first position - frets 1 through 4 using fingers 1 to 4. What fingers do I use further down the fret board? Do I start over, using fingers 1 through 4 on frets 5 to 8? I'm not sure what fingers that I should be using going up and down fret board past the first position?
