Very good question Simone,
I was just about to ask the same thing before I read your post.
I think it's personal. If I don't move forward at a reasonable pace I know I'm going to give up.
So I find I go lesson by lesson, a few a day, then end up going back to practice somegthing from before.
For me it's been 4 weeks and I'm just finishing the 5 chord power pack.
Does that pace relate to you? I'd say I'm averaging 30 minutes a day.
I can play Ode to Joy OK and do the 3 major scales we've learnt so far.
I can't move very well between cords and have little to no strumming rythm while trying!
I've also had some fun just playing chords along to a few songs (Zombie by the Cranberries was my last). I'm bad at it but it adds a bit of fun and breaks up the "learning" feel of it all a bit.
How about you?
Would be interesting to hear how you are getting on and if you have similar or completely different difficulties you are facing.
Cheers,
Dean
