a couple of weeks ago I enrolled into the "core learning system level 1 course".

At the moment I'm following the lessons about the simple melodies, such as Beethoven's Ode to Joy.

The question is: even though I'm not still "perfect" at many things, such as fluent change between chords, speed of execution, etc., should I "stop" proceeding with the lessons path until I fix all the issues or can I proceed one lesson at a time as long as I see some improvements?

I think it's an individual choice, but for me I try to gain a reasonable level of skill before I move on, but I definitely don't wait for perfection or anything close to it. I keep practicing earlier stuff as I move forward. That way I am usually working on something new and fresh, while reinforcing and improving on the earlier lessons. When I am feeling a little frustrated and discouraged I like to pick up something from several weeks back and go through it again because seeing how much better I can do things that were hard for me not very long ago helps get me back to feeling positive again.
