HI there,fellow sufferers,
I thought when I hit 60 last year that I would buy myself an electric guitar and attempt to learn to play the thing. Had taken lessons when I was 40years younger. Playing got a roughly curtailed by a bike accident that shattered my wrist, got rebuilt but very restricted movement. So the right handed Yamaha Pacifica went to the back of the cupboard to be replaced by a Ibanez gio now left handed. After struggling to get clean chords, decided to visit a proper music shop instead of face bay and get some advice.ended trading the Yamaha for a classical guitar, now I can get chords, this was the day before the U.K. Lockdown . Went home ,joined up and stopped watched you tube lessons and the rest is a journey into sore fingers and a modest bit of progress.Wish me luck!
