Hello all,

So, over the course of the last couple of years I completed the beginner's courses and still trying to develop accuracy and speed.

As someone who has no plans to ever play with a group or anything like that, I need advice. All I really want to do is become good enough at the "Clapton Blues" on acoustic and electric. I understand I'll never have his ability, but hopefully you get where I'm coming from.

While I don't mind at all the practice, I feel like I need to target specific lessons, drills and scales to get better.

Any of you out there that can play licks like "Pretending" or "No Alibis" have any advice on how I can trim my learning experience to become adept at this type of playing?

Always appreciate everyone's help on this site!
