No, I decided on another setup. To date the Vox has been in our music room hooked to a Peavey 4 x 12 cab. But in our living room I have one of our PA heads set up in the corner. And I run our mixer into the head. This has been very good for 2 reasons:

1) The Cerwin Vega CVE10 sounds tremendous

2) The CVE10 has both XLR inputs and Bluetooth. This dual input system allows me to run the mixer into the XLR inputs and I can connect my phone via Bluetooth. So in a fairly small package I can run jam tracks while playing.

The disadvantage has been it is totally clean. A reasonable work around was to add my Boss Blues Driver to the chain. But then I thought, why not just run the Vox VM50 instead? So that is what I did just yesterday and I am happy with how it sounds.

So the gift card was used for a pretty groovy "Paisley patterned" strap for my Cherry Burst! The strap has colour tones that pick up the gold fleck in the pic guard. I will have to post a pic.
