Hello,

First I'm a total n00b taking Lisa McCormick's beginner course. I got as far as the Simple C and Simple G chords and already I have an issue... My problem is I can't bend my index finger to play the Simple C without hitting the lower E string. I've tried many times but no matter what I try I can't get my fingers to cooperate. I suspect this will improve over time but was wondering if anyone knows of any finger exercises I can do that will help with this situation.
