Hey Liv.[br][br]It is great that you got past the feeling of shame. [br]I used to compare myself to others and think "what is the point of learning guitar, when there are thousands of better players than me..".[br][br]But now, I understand that through the guitar, emotions are spoken. Music is an expression of self, and our lives are unique, so our music is too. So understanding this, shows us that no matter our level of skill, we are needed to be heard by someone, for whatever reason.[br][br]Instead of comparing yourself from now on, just realise that every respected player that you appreciate has started where you are right now. [br][br]I, myself used to play for my own ears, and never shared my music around because I thought i was a bad player because I couldnt play fast, or technically like others. But after meeting the right people, they have told me that my music has healed them and made them feel good. Yeah, my slow paced, soft, easy to play songs. [br][br]I hope by saying this, it motivates you and shows you that there are many of us who are in this similar situation, as I am glad that you shared it with me :)[br][br]All the best, goodluck!
