Great memories of Dion from 1961 and such memorable music of the early 1960's '50's legacy crossover before the arrival of the Liverpudlian Merseybeat and U.S. Surfin' sound.

"Runaround Sue" was the first song I performed on my Ibanez SG clone in a quasi-public amateur concert with a collegue as a guitar duo back in '75. Fortunately, he performed the lead vocal in so doing taking front of house attention, a par saving grace. Press-ganged into it, I recall feeling acutely embarrased at my many on the fly performance mistakes and imperfections as one does at that age when ego still believes it's important to anyone but oneself. I caught up with him recently. It's now nought but an amusing anecdote and a memory of fun times.
