By famous bands, I think Metallica is awsome ´cause first of all, it describes the style very well and it sounds very cool.

Actually, Lars stoled the name from a guy who asked him if he liked the name Metallica for his fanzine our somthing. Lars said it sucked tricked the guy, keept the name for him self and got a copyright on it and that´s it. James camed up with the logo do.

Short and easy to remember and understand names are very good but boring. My band is called Violation Domain. It sound like black metal but we´re into progg metal and heavy metal. We were thinkin about a change but nah, not yet since lot´s of local duds knows the name and as long as we remain local we won´t change it.

One cool name for band that I have in mind is Leathal Injection. I never heard a band called so and as long it´s trach/heavy metal, it works definitly. It sound dirty, nasty, fast and most of all deadly.
