Hi All, I've been a long time basically self taught player (6 lessons 40 yrs ago). Picked it up put it down for years. Finally got serious and now I'm here. I spend a lot of time on theory and it has opened up much more to playing. Any new players that just want to learn songs, spend time on theory. You'll be a guitar player and not someone who just plays guitar.
