I started playing acoustic in high school, and thanks to church gigs, I got to be a decent player. But I've always wanted to be a great player, so I've subscribed.

I have 4 guitars: a Taylor 514CE (bought it used, love it!); a Cordoba C5-CE classical guitar (I played it a lot after initially getting it a year ago -- great classical guitar!); a Gibson Les Paul Studio (which I just never really "connected" with); and I just got a new Fender American Performer Stratocaster. I have been 'wowed' by that one! Love it.

I decided to work through the two fundamental courses, just to see what I thought of them and maybe learn a few things I didn't know. And I've been surprised to learn a few new things! Looking forward to the rock and blues courses, later.
