I think they let anyone in who can afford it. But I could be wrong.

You need to apply, but since it's quite expensive, they let anyone in, you'll need to have an interview to see what your need are etc... http://www.mi.edu/ (the MI, musician institute, is the GIT, BIT DIT etc...)

Yeah man, think if they have audition, and than you play in front of 5 experts teachers and they judge you if you´re good enough. Man I really wonder how many notes I would strike right, I would shake like an earthquake. But fortunatly, I don´t think they do it that way our?

Just for record, when Gilbert finished, they asked him directly if he want to teach. He accepted the offer and that´s how he met Bruce Boulliot (spelling) who was one of his students. Later on, they two formed Racer X and thay were like 20-21 yrs. old. I didn´t know that Gambale went there but you´ll find a long list of artist who attended at GIT on GIT homepage. I think Red Hot Chil. Pap. guitarist went there as well and he´s perhaps not what we call virtouso. So anyone got a chance bit than on the other hand you can´t be a fu*ckin´ punk player who only knows how to play like 5 chords whitout knowing theyr name.
