Allan Holdsworth got bored with regular scales, and made new scales with respective chords using a self-made algebraic formula.... [/QUOTE]

Huh? That sounds interesting, Can you tell me more please?
I'm always looking for new scales. I've made a big table sorting out how similar different scales are according to how many notes can be made to overlap from different scales. This way you can move from one scale to another only changing one note at a time by picking intermediate scales that share all but one note. It took ages and was mega dull but I'd like to share the results with you guys so go to my brother's website, click on friends, then Andrew F. and then scale resources or something. I have about 40 scale forms in there.

If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?
