That's exactly what I'm aspiring to do (With my influences but with my own voice) :-) And I'm not too far off from my goals. How much longer will it take?....who kows. I suppose I'll never be satisfied no matter how good I may be or will be. (Don't misread that last line as me saying I'm good or great...intepret as what I aspire to do)
