Hey mike, I'm new to this site been here a little over a month. Been trying to learn for three months before coming here. starting off with beginner stuff with lisa mccormic and am liking everything so far but I'm 57 and like the challenge of playing a real song that someone would reconize if they heard me playing. I started playing folsum prison blues with you and i am getting close to making all the changes with the chords except that pesky B7 still slows me down. I also very much like the electric guitar part of that song and have been trying it on acoustic and got some of it down. My question is - Is it possible to play the electric part on acoustic or are there some parts I won't be able to incorporate in the song? I've noticed it's very hard to do the slide down on the a shape but can slide down when doing the 12th fret slide to 13 on the other part. Been on this for weeks now and really like working on this with you. Have had to really slow it down to figure out what strings your hitting when doing the arpeg parts.
