Please share pros and cons about Martin and Taylor acoustics guitars.

I tried a couple of them and really liked the playability of both, but I kind of prefered the deep bass on Taylor that 6th string sounds sooooo deep, love it.

Have not had the chance to stay long neither to try them on an amp.

What you guys think of those guitars unplugged and on amps? Also wondering what price range you recommend looking at for those guitars, I am not a professional guitarist but I prefer to have a good guitar that I will keep for years rather than selling it a few years later because I am frustrated.
