I got a music notebook really cheap on amazon that comes with a box for chords and blocks of 6 lines on the other side to write tabs and i find it super useful, but i think any kind of notebook can do the job

Its not only useful to help memorize them but to keep record of exercises or riffs you find here and there

...just saying

Many instructors, online and authors of guitar books, recommend the same thing. Writing one's own chord configuration/chord charts is thought to be a good learning tool.
