Maybe I can answer my own question.

I tried to print the music directly from the lesson and was prohibited. But by using the "Print Notation" button on the side (as a previous poster discovered for me) I was able to. Navigation in GT isn't perfectly clear but this seems to be my mistake. Sorry!
