i was talking to a guy who actually met malmsteen and he was sayiing that he was a hell of a nice guy, he malmsteen even asked if it was ok for him to jam with this guy, instead of just assuming because of his stature. he is brutally honest, and i think that throws people off. also when he first came on to the seen his was considered one of the best in the world, and was probably very cocky. although i think he's humbled a little.


he is and continues to be one of my favorite guitarists and biggest influences.
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.
